The Story of a Bipolar Bear.

No, that’s not OCD.

I’ve seen my uncle suffer from OCD for years after his brother died. I’ve seen how his OCD has eaten him alive and his family.

I don’t have OCD myself, but hearing others use it out of context irritates me.

Everyone seems to have “OCD.”

It’s like a trend, apparently.

Wanting to be clean is normal.

Wanting to be have a clean room is normal.

Wanting to things organized is normal.

There is nothing wrong with being clean or organized or being hygienic.

The key is wanting, people with OCD have an uncontrollable behavior/thoughts that will not leave until they do the thing that their mind is telling them.

They have no choice.

Their uncontrollable thoughts is something beyond just a clean room.

These thoughts control them.

It controls them inside and out.

That’s not something everyone goes through.

This goes on everyday of every second.

It takes intense intense therapy to help people with OCD cope with their urges and uncontrollable thoughts.

It’s nothing comparing to your organized closet.

sincerely,

bipolar bear.
